OUR DOGS

We currently own 4 Collie bitches and a German Shepherd. All our Collies are bred from ISDS (International Sheep Dog Society) champion working lines for brains and stamina. They all bear our recently acquired affix 'Comebyanaway' for Kennel Club and 'Byanaway' for ISDS. All are eye tested for CEA/PRA and hereditary eye conditions as young pups and at 2 years of age. Any future litters will be registered with the relevant affix and sold only to knowledgeable working homes where their natural abilities and talents are brought out.

BO COMEBYANAWAY (Bo) - Dual registered KC/ISDS

Bo was bred by the Templeton family in Scotland, Bo's sire is 'Spot' who has been placed 3rd, 4th and 6th between 1992 and 1998 in the ISDS International Supreme Championship. Bo is short haired black and white, she is very keen on sheep but almost as keen to sit all day being made a fuss of. As her father won 'PAT dog of the year 2000' this probably explains why!

TESS COMEBYANAWAY (Tess) - Dual registered KC/ISDS

Pip is our eldest dog and the undisputed 'pack leader'. Pip is very strong when dealing with sheep, but gentle when required during lambing. Working on the fell keeps Pip extremely fit hence her being a successful member of the 'Barney Bullets' flyball team which involved her competing in the Crufts 2001, 2002 and 2003 Flyball Championships. Pip has appeared on the front cover of the ISDS magazine, Farmers Weekly, a 2001 Sheepdog calendar, Crufts and Countryfile. Pip is short haired black and white.

Jet had her first litter of 7 puppies on 16th May 02, the sire is 'Brackenholme Dug', an extremely successful dual reg Border Collie who competes at top level in sheepdog trials - English National Brace Champion 2002 and 5th in the International Supreme Sheepdog Championship.

TIERHAUS OASIS COMEBYANAWAY (Kal) - KC registered

Last but not least is German Shepherd Kal (Khalil - friend). She is from German import lines and we think very bonny! She may compete in ABC Agility in the future when she is fully grown, if the Collies allow it!
